Now from only £9.95! Can you afford not to perform a used car history check?

What is a used car history check?

When purchasing a used car it is important to perform a data check. These reports check the vehicle against a series of national registers and enable you to confirm the vehicle details are correct and alert you to anything it may be hiding. The main areas covered by the data checks are:

Vehicle identity

This confirms if a vehicle has been correctly described and includes; make, model, colour, date of registration, number of owners, engine and VIN numbers.

Plate transfer

This indicates if a vehicle has had a private number plate transfer and gives details of all registrations that have been allocated to this vehicle.

Stolen vehicles/security alert

You will be alerted if someone tries to sell you a vehicle that is registered as stolen.

Outstanding finance

Helps you ensure the vehicle is not the subject of an unpaid finance agreement.

Condition alert

Alert you to cars that have been recorded as scrapped by the DVLA or written off by insurance companies.
