If you are considering bidding for a car on e-bay you could pick up a real bargain. However buying at any auction venue can be daunting and e-bay is no exception. We have first hand experience of buying and selling cars on e-bay and realise what an excellent resource it can be for sellers and buyers alike. As with any marketplace there are pros and cons but when used properly e-bay can be a great place to pick up a genuine used car bargain. We would always recommend buying from a genuine trader on e-bay and not from a private seller. There are excellent traders who make a living from selling on e-bay and rely on their good feedback records to attract bidders. Dealing with such a trader also reduces your chances of buying a car that has been listed on e-bay because it has undisclosed problems. Unlike a physical car auction, e-bay gives you direct contact with the owner/seller of the vehicle and because of the feedback system any disputes can normally be resolved amicably. Do remember however that cars on e-bay are often sold as seen and wherever possible we would always recommend viewing before you bid. Also make sure you read the listings thoroughly including the terms and conditions. Below is a list of the cars we currently have avaliable via ebay Don’t forget to read our buying guide for used cars to help you choose the right car for you. If you are not registered with e-bay but would like to be, just click on the link at the top of the page. Good luck and happy bidding.
